Freshmen First Day

Freshmen First Day - On Tuesday, August 26th, we are organizing a First Day program for all new freshmen. We recognize that the transition to high school can be difficult for many students. To assist with this transition, we welcome freshmen to SHS to get acquainted with their schedules, meet their new teachers, and adjust to the high school setting. They will follow a shortened schedule and participate in special presentations by counselors, administrators, and fellow students. The event will end with a pizza luncheon in the cafeteria. Students should arrange their own transportation; however, if you need help, please contact Drew Warchut at awarchut@simsburyschools.net or 704-450-0084, and we will try to assist.
